1) WHAT WE'VE BEEN DOING
24-25/10 Free promotion of Clovenhoof on Kindle.
First time we've done this.
It's been fascinating to see the boost it's given to sales.
Thanks to all of you kind people who helped to spread the word on social media.
31/10 All Hallow's Read Spoken Word event.
A tremendously fun evening. It was the first one that we have hosted.
We had 14 writers and poets reading to an audience that filled the 6/8 Kafe's atmospheric dungeon.
So successful we're going back for more with a winter spoken word event on 30th January
(by which time the 6/8 Halloween dungeon will be transformed into a beautiful wintry grotto, honest)
16/11 Digital Survival, Loughborough Literary Salon, Loughborough University
We were invited to speak about the publishing experiences of Pigeon Park Press.
We approached it with the utmost honesty about the smallness of our operation,
but tried to give the audience a good flavour of how we went about it,
and which of our efforts were most effective.
We met some fascinating people working on some innovative projects.
Here's a write-up.

Ten To One - In 2013, we will be launching our super-collaborative novel project, Ten To One.
In this novel-length collaboration, we will be inviting ten authors to control a character each
but then - and here's the twist! - invite the voting public to decide which characters get to stay in the story.
It's based upon a very successful five-person collaboration, Full Fathom Five
(http://www.facebook.com/pages/Full-Fathom-Five/442480159145664)
which is just drawing to a close. More details next newsletter.
