Iain: We have been busy. The end of 2024 might have seemed a bit quiet for us but we’ve got LOTS and LOTS of books coming out this year and we’re appearing at a large number of events.
Heide: Yes, we’ve got new books in the Clovenhoof, Sam Applewhite and Time Jumper
series coming out later this year plus a whole new series. But right now we’re gearing up for the launch of a new series of light-hearted murder mystery books.
Iain: The Lyme Regis Women’s Swimming Club, the first book in a new series comes out on 17th April. You can pre-order a copy here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lyme-Regis-Womens-Swimming-Club-ebook/dp/B0DM9NNJ8W
Heide: It focuses, as the title suggests, on a group of women who come together for early morning swims in the wonderful Dorset town of Lyme Regis. There’s never-say-die
mother-and-grandmother Annie. Her icy and sometimes aloof friend, Rosamund.
Iain: Plus middle-aged bohemian free spirit Helen and the youngest member of the group, Figgy, who joins them to overcome her fear of being socially isolated.
Heide: A great bunch of characters who – Shock! Horror! – discover a murdered man after one of their
morning swims.
Iain: We had a lot of fun writing it with friend and collaborator, Rachel McLean, and we’re doing a big book tour to promote it towards the end of the month. Full list at the bottom of this newsletter.
Iain: Book two in the series is coming out in the summer.
Heide: Speaking of murder mystery fun. The audiobook of our first Cozy Craft murder mystery book is now out.
Iain: If you want to have a listen for free. The first half hour
of the audiobook is available here https://youtu.be/9zz5IjdtZdo with some video footage we took of the town of Framlingham where it’s set.
