Iain: Hello, friend.
Heide: We love writing newsletters to you and we love hearing back from our readers. We often have so much information to share about upcoming things —
Iain: Like how we’ve got FIVE new books coming out
this summer. FIVE! Minimum!
Heide: Yeah, like that. And we know that we shouldn’t use our newsletter to spam you with stuff you just don’t need. But we have a favour to ask.
Iain: It’s a small favour but it requires a little effort on your part.
Heide: Basically, we’re in a competition in which there is a chance — a small chance but a chance nonetheless —
that one of our books might be adapted for television. We’d be absolutely thrilled if that happened.
Iain: But which book is it?
Heide: It’s the Sam Applewhite books. Crime, violence, ice creams, donkeys. We love the Sam books and we’d love to see them become a TV show.
Iain: But if that doesn’t interest you and you wish we would just leave you alone, here, as an apology, are two pictures, one of Heide spooning fake blood on herself for a film scene she got involved in last weekend and one of me wearing an Elvis outfit Heide made for me to promote our Millie Ravensworth books.
