IAIN: What are their names?
HEIDE: I
dunno. Al and Packer?
IAIN: You should never give animals paired names like Cagney and Lacey or Fish and Chips, because then when one of the dies you just end up with Cagney or Chips and it sounds weird or you have Cagney and Chips which is weirder.
HEIDE: I love how your go-to reference is a cop show that stopped airing over thirty years ago. But these are soft toys and neither of them are going to die. Well done on going to a dark place there, Iain.
IAIN: ANYWAY, to get your hands on a copy of the book and one of our lovely toys, all we want you to do is send to us (e-mail, Facebook, whatever) your best alpaca picture. This could be a photo you with an alpaca, a drawing, a three-d model made from mashed potato or indeed, as Heide demonstrates here, a selfie of yourself as an alpaca. It’s a nice look, Heide.
HEIDE: I make sacrifices for my art.
